29th in series: He is God, He is Good, Can He Trust Me? –  1st in mini-series: Can HE Trust Me to Grow?

Dr. Cox has entitled the first teaching in this series “You Can Do It Because He has Done It,” for a very important reason. As we enter this section of the Text we discover that we’re not asked to do anything until we receive what God has done for us!

28th in series: He is God, He is Good, Can He Trust Me? — 4th in mini-series: Making Rest Work

Often when we think of work, we think of the dirty, nasty jobs that we hate to do. Is work a punishment from God? Is work something that we endure so that we can enjoy the good things of life on the weekend? Or, did God create us to enjoy our work, to celebrate our accomplishments and to find fulfillment in our labor? Does our work really matter to God? Is our work truly sacred? In this final teaching of this series, Dr. Cox invites us to answer these and some more personal questions regarding how to enjoy our work so we can enjoy our rest.

27th in series: He is God, He is Good, Can He Trust Me? — 3rd in mini-series: Making Rest Work

Why even observe a Sabbath? Do I really need it? What’s the point? I don’t think I can do it! The third teaching in this series addresses these excuses and three of the major enemies to rest in our culture. You may have concluded that you don’t need the break but did you ever consider someone else might need you to find Sabbath rhythm on their behalf?
